How did Qi Gong originate?
Qi Gong is actually an example of a broader category of exercises called Nui
Kung, or Nei Gong. Nei Gong translates literally into “Inner Cultivation.” These
exercises train humans to achieve levels of energy outside the realm of everyday
human experience.
Qi Gong is thought to date back at least seven thousand years. Archaeological
Chinese Taoists were early advocates of qigong, but Indian Buddhists have influenced
its later practice.
