Fango
Fango comes from the Italian word for mud. Fango is a treatment that uses mineralized
mud mixed with oil or water that is then applied over the body as a heat pack
to detoxify the skin, soothe the muscles, and stimulate circulation.
The mud used in Fango is defined as "hyperthermal or hyperthermalized mud and
is a mixture of algae, micro-organisms and clay mixed with mineral water and
used in medical practice as a pack.
