The 3 Day Diet
The 3 day diet is a cleansing program that may be able to purify and cleanse
the body so it may be nurtured. If you are overweight, this program will take
you down to an acceptable body weight, and if you are a little thinner than
you’d like to be, it will bring you up to a normal weight. The goal of the entire
program is to eliminate mucus and other toxins from the body so that the dieter
is healed in a natural way.
If one is to successfully heal themselves of a current illness, lose weight,
prepare their bodies for pregnancy, or to be totally healthy, a three to seven
day cleanse is just one of the possible eating regimes that could be of some
help. To function at peak condition, the body should be clear of built up waste
that constipates all the other organs making us sick or out of balance. So before
undertaking any intense physical activity or even if you just want to fit into
that perfect bathing suit, the so called 3 day miracle diet could be for you.
It is believed that any retention or accumulation of waste, feces, mucus and
toxins can create dysfunction of our organs and therefore create disease, as
well as hinder the healing process and recovery from strain or injury. There
are four major eliminatory organs that process and produce waste these organs
are: the lungs, the pores, the kidneys, and the bowels. The pores of your skin
sweat out the toxins of the body that is why we should not try to prevent sweating
with antiperspirants. In fact sweat, although foul smelling is quite good for
you. The kidneys eliminate and deal with toxins from the liver and your metabolism.
Probably the most important organ that tackles toxins is the bowels that eliminate
food waste, cells and tissues that, if built up, can result in toxemia and acidosis.
Cleaning out your bowels is probably the best way to rid the body of any nasty
material that may be slowing you down.
The 3 day diets may not be for everyone. It takes a great deal of stamina and
determination to partake in the 3-day and you must congratulate yourself for
deciding to prepare your body in such a way.
This diet also has a reputation as the a diet to lose 10lbs in 3 days or a
three days on 1 day off diet. While there is other 3 day diet plans here’s one
version of what you’ll have to do for a 3 day diet plan:
Drink 4 glasses of water or diet soda per day. For additional flavoring you
can add herbs, salt and pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce,
mustard and ketchup to your foods.
DAY 1
BREAKFAST
Black Coffee or Tea (if required, with 1-2 packets of Sweet and Low or equivalent)
1/2 a Grapefruit or Juice
1 Slice of Toast with 1 tbsp. Peanut Butter
LUNCH
1/2 a Cup of Tuna and1 Slice of Toast. Black Coffee or Tea (if required, with
1-2 packets of Sweet and Low or equivalent)
DINNER
3 Oz. any lean red meat or chicken and 1 cup each of, green beans, carrots,
regular vanilla ice cream with 1 apple.
DAY 2
BREAKFAST
Black Coffee or Tea (if required, with 1-2 packets of Sweet and Low or equivalent)
1 Egg (boiled, scrambled, omlette) 1/2 a Banana and 1 Slice of Toast.
LUNCH
1 cup of cottage cheese or tuna and 8 regular saltine crackers.
DINNER
2 beef franks with 1 cup of broccoli or cabbage, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 a banana
and 1/2 a cup of regular vanilla ice cream.
DAY 3
BREAKFAST
Black Coffee or Tea (if required, with 1-2 packets of Sweet and Low or equivalent)
5 regular saltine crackers, 1 oz. cheddar cheese and 1 apple.
LUNCH
1 boiled egg and 1 slice of toast with Black Coffee or Tea (if required, with
1-2 packets of Sweet and Low or equivalent).
DINNER
1 cup each of: tuna, carrots, cauliflower, melon, 1/2 cup regular vanilla ice
cream.
