Diet Blood Type Reviews
Like any new fad diet there is bound to be critics and advocates. Here are
some of their opinions on the blood type diet. It’s always best to do a little
research to find the diet rite for your blood type. Those who buy into the blood
type diet and post their blood type scientific reviews tend to agree with founder
Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s claim that lectins found in most foods are the culprits
that hinder our everyday performance when consumed in foods that are not compatible
with our blood type.
Those that disagree with Dr. D’Adamo’s theory often do so on the claim that his
research is not conclusive enough. Most of his tests involving lectins were done
in test tubes, and not enough research was doe on actual people. Critics also
maintain that lectins often breakdown when food is cooked or processed. There
is also some disagreement about the fundaments of the blood typing system itself.
Relatively recently it has been discovered that blood typing is much more complex
than simple A B O. There may even be as many as 30 different types of blood, identified
by specific markers attached to red blood cells.
