Circuit training exercises
Generally circuit training aims to train all parts of the body. There is no
set format however the following is one particular sequence of exercises so
that all muscle groups can be trained during circuit training:
Total-body exercise
Upper-body exercise
Lower-body exercise
Core/trunk exercise
Total-body exercise
Upper-body exercise
Lower-body exercise
Core/trunk exercise
Notice that each part of the body is emphasised twice during each circuit.
There are a multitude of exercise techniques to help train each of the above
muscles, and to the right is a common set of exercises for each of the steps
in the above sequence.
