Eat Right For Your Blood Type
It can be hard to eat right for your blood type. Each food has a different
chemical make-up that could, as the diet claims, severely affect you health.
Keeping track of these foods is a monumental task.
Since Dr. D’Adamo published is popular book ‘Eat Right for your Type’ in 1996
a flourish of recipes have hit the internet helping people follow the guidelines
of the diet that best suits their blood type. However, there are many recipes
and foods that you have probably eaten before peoples of all blood types can
enjoy that.
Here is a recipe for wheat free fruit nut muffins:
This will make about 12 muffins.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice flower
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- ½ cup of oat, corn flour or spelt (this one will depend specifically on
your blood type)
- ¼ cup of chopped nuts
- ¼ of honey
- ¼ cup of canola oil or olive oil
- 1 cup of non-fat milk or any other milk substitute that you may be using
in your diet. Soymilk is a good substitute.
- 2 eggs or 4 egg whites (beaten lightly)
- ½ cup of chopped deiced apricots
- ½ cup of frozen berries
Preheat you oven to 400 degrees. Oil the muffin pan and dust with flour. Combine
ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. Pour batter into muffin pan and
then bake for 20 minutes, or until muffins are lightly browned and elastic to
the touch. Enjoy! No matter what your blood type this should provide a healthy
and delicious meal to eat for breakfast or on the go.
